Illbruck UK celebrates BBA certification for TP610 Impregnated Foam Tape

Illbruck UK, renowned for its compriband technology, is delighted to announce that TP610 Impregnated Foam Tape has been awarded a British Board of Agrément Certificate.  

TP610, which can be used for weather-tight sealing of perimeter joints around windows and doors. Designed to provide thermal insulation within the perimeter joints and maintain the energy rating of the window, this product is available in a variety of widths and thicknesses to the UK construction market.

The BBA certificate confirms that TP610 has enhanced performance concerning movement joints and perimeter sealing of windows and doors above ground level to provide a weathertight seal. This endorsement by the UK’s leading construction certification body will provide architects, contractors, and specifiers will full assurance that the product has been tested to meet the highest industry standard.  

Illbruck UK recommends that FM330 Pro Foam Airseal is used in conjunction with TP610 Impregnated Foam Tape. The use of this combined system will maintain the energy rating or U-value of the installed window and prevent thermal bridging through the perimeter gap.
